Parents/carers must not send children to school too early or leave them uncollected at the end of the school day. If you are delayed for any reason let the school office know immediately. The school gates open at 8.30am and a member of the school staff will be on duty from 8.50am.
Nursery and children in reception, year one and year two must be brought to school and collected by an adult.
Please make sure your child attends regularly and on time. It is the parents responsibility to make sure their children get to and from school safely.
Collection of children from school
In order to ensure the children’s safety the school has reviewed the policy in the collection of children.
Children in Nursery and Reception classes MUST BE COLLECTED BY AN AUTHORISED ADULT.
Children in Years 3, 4 and 5 must be collected by an authorised adult or a competent person over the age of 14.
Year 6 children may go home unaccompanied for which I will require written permission. Parents will need to arrange for younger brothers and sisters to be collected by an authorised adult.
It is important that parents keep school informed about who is collecting children and any changes.
Due to an increasing number of pupils with allergies we are unable to accept birthday cakes. However parents can send in a box or bag of sweets to be shared with the class – where possible these should not contain nuts or gelatine. Parents should also refrain from sending in party bags.
Photos and Videos
Parent or visitors are NOT allowed to take photos or videos of our children during school times or school performances (this includes mobile phone usage.) At the end of school performance there will be an opportunity for parents to take an individual photo of their child.
