Our pupils often use the internet as part of their learning, and have regular lessons on e-safety to help them know how to keep safe online. We teach the children to use the internet carefully and understand what to do if they feel uncomfortable online.
We realise that this close supervision of internet use is much harder to do at home, so here are some useful sites to help! The ones below are aimed at children and have great activities for them to do which will reinforce those important e-safety messages.
Parent Pages The national directory of services aimed at parents
Parent Link Practical tips on helping with children's school work.
gov.uk The latest and widest range of public service information from the UK government.
SureStart Childcare Where to find childcare in your area.
Parents' Resources Articles written by practising teachers designed to help with the education of your child.
BBC Adult Learning Lots of information about getting into learning.
The Parents' Centre For all parents and carers who want to help their child or children to learn.
